The holy festival of Navratri is celebrated with great pomp all over India. During the 9 days of Navratri, nine forms of the mother are worshipped. Goddess Chandraghanta, the third form of Durga, is worshiped on the third day of Navratri. According to some religious beliefs, Mata Chandraghanta had to incarnate to kill the demons. Mother is holding a trident, sword in her hands to remove the miseries of her devotees. An hour-shaped crescent is made on the forehead of Mata Chandraghanta. Because of which devotees call the mother Chandraghanta Mata.
Maa Chandraghanta is said to be the third form of Parvati. His third eye is always open. His form is shown as a half-moon. Mother Chandraghanta was incarnated to kill the demons. Mata Chandraghanta kills the armies of the demons and gives their share to the gods. Mata Chandraghanta is considered to be the destroyer of the pain of the entire world, which gives the desired results of the devotees. By worshiping him, the devotees feel mighty and fearless. The sound of his bells always protects his devotees from phantom hindrances. Mother has 10 hands. The mother is adorned with weapons like knives, arrows, etc. in her ten hands. The lion is believed to be the ride of Mata Chandraghanta.
On the third day of Navratri, Goddess Chandraghanta, the third form of Goddess Durga, is worshiped by law, and the mother is worshiped by chanting (om Devi Chandraghantaai Namah). First of all, offer vermilion intact, scent, incense, flowers to Mother Chandraghanta. You can also offer sweets made of ghee to the mother. Do Durga Chalisa and Durga Aarti regularly every day of Navratri.

प्रफुल्ल वंदना बिबाधारा कांत कपोलां तुग कुचाम।

चंद्र समान तुम शीतल दाती।चंद्र तेज किरणों में समाती।
क्रोध को शांत करने वाली।
मीठे बोल सिखाने वाली।
मन की मालक मन भाती हो।
चंद्र घंटा तुम वरदाती हो।
सुंदर भाव को लाने वाली।
हर संकट मे बचाने वाली।
हर बुधवार जो तुझे ध्याये।

मूर्ति चंद्र आकार बनाएं।
सन्मुख घी की ज्योति जलाएं।
शीश झुका कहे मन की बाता।
