Bhimashankar Jyotirlinga is located at a distance of 100 km from Pune in Maharashtra. Which is located in the village of Bhorgiri (Bhimashankar) in the Sahmadri mountain range. Then all the gods worshiped and pleased Lord Shankar to protect the earth. The gods pleaded to kill Tripurasura. Then Bholenath took the form of Bhima and killed Tripurasura. The Bhima River originated from Bhima's sweat and the temple was built by establishing Bhimashankar Jyotirlinga at that place.
