Mother Goddess Kushmanda is said to have eight arms. Therefore the mother is also known as Ashtabhuja Mata. Mother is holding kamandalu, bow, arrow, lotus flower, an urn full of nectar, chakra, and mace, and garland respectively in these same hands. Maa's boon mudra is supposed to grant all kinds of Riddhi Siddhis to the devotees. Mother Goddess Kushmanda rides a lion. The devotees who pray to the mother with a sincere heart, then Mother Goddess Kushmanda ends all kinds of diseases, sorrows, anguish for her devotees. And the devotees also get long life and fame.

Ya Devi sarvabhuteshu Ma Kushmanda Rupena Samsthita
Namastasyai Namastasyai Namastasyai Namo Namah

Meaning: Mother is present everywhere and Ambe, popularly known as Mother Kushmanda, I bow to you, again and again, that is, I bow to you again and again. O Mother, grant me freedom from all sins.
